This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do with Feedmate, the software you use to plan, prepare and publish posts on the social accounts you connect. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account, during the free trial and on paid plans alike.
1. What Feedmate is for
Feedmate is software for planning, scheduling and publishing posts on social accounts that you own or are authorised to manage. Its AI prepares drafts (captions, images, carousels and short videos) from your website, your documents and the details you enter. Every draft is a proposal: you decide whether it is published.
2. Permitted use
Planning, preparing and publishing posts for your own business, brand or personal profile, or for clients who have authorised you to manage their accounts.
Using your own material (texts, photos, videos, logos and documents) or material you have the right to use.
Editing, regenerating or discarding any draft before it is published.
Using the Feedmate presenters on the plans that include them: they are AI characters and do not depict any real person.
3. Prohibited content
You must not use Feedmate to prepare, schedule or publish:
Sexual, pornographic or other adult content, and any content that sexualises minors.
Deepfakes, or any synthetic or manipulated media that could make people believe a real person said or did something they did not.
Content that impersonates a person, a brand or an organisation, or misleads people about who is behind an account.
The face, body, voice or name of a real person without their explicit consent, including face swaps and voice cloning.
Hateful or discriminatory content, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal goods, services or activities.
False or misleading content, including fake reviews or testimonials, claims you cannot support and disinformation.
Spam: bulk, repetitive or unsolicited content, fake engagement, or posts designed to manipulate how a platform ranks content.
Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights of third parties, including material you have no licence to use.
4. Respecting the social platforms
You must follow the terms, community guidelines and advertising policies of every platform you connect to Feedmate.
You must not use Feedmate to get around a platform's rules or limits, for example to evade a ban or a restriction, to run fake or duplicate accounts, to buy followers or engagement, or to post in a way the platform does not allow.
You may connect only accounts that you own or that you are authorised to manage.
5. You review and approve every draft
Drafts made with AI can contain mistakes, inaccuracies or content that is not right for your audience. Before a post is published you must open it, check it and approve it. If you choose to switch on automatic publishing, you approve in advance everything it publishes and you remain fully responsible for it. You are responsible for everything published through your account, whether you wrote it, uploaded it or approved an AI draft.
6. Labelling AI-generated content
Images and other visual content produced by Feedmate carry embedded metadata identifying them as generated, or partly generated, by artificial intelligence. You must not remove or alter this marking.
Where a connected platform offers a field to declare AI-generated content, Feedmate sets it when it publishes on your behalf.
You must add any further disclosure required by the platform or by the law that applies to you, in particular when content could be mistaken for a real person or a real event.
7. What we do if these rules are not respected
We may review content and accounts when we receive a report or have reason to believe that this policy has been breached. Where the breach is not serious, we give notice and a reasonable chance to fix it first. Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:
remove or block the content, or cancel the scheduled posts that breach this policy;
limit the use of AI features or of publishing on your account;
suspend your account, or close it in case of serious or repeated breaches, as described in section 15 of the Terms of Service;
report illegal content to the competent authorities where the law requires it.
8. Reporting abuse
If you see content published through Feedmate that you believe breaks this policy, write to support@feedmate.ai with a link to the content and a short explanation. We will look into it and reply.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced in advance by email or in the app, as described in section 16 of the Terms of Service.
